Origins and Innovation
HVEX (High Voltage Equipment) had its beginnings in 2011 in the city of Itajubá, located in the southern state of Minas Gerais. It emerged as an ambitious idea conceived by a group of dedicated students, united by a common interest in the high voltage research laboratory of the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI).
Between 2012 and 2014, the company took its first steps as a start-up, emerging from the innovative environment of the aforementioned research laboratory. During this period, it consolidated its presence as a technological spin-off in the Itajubá Technological Base Company Incubator - INCIT, laying the groundwork for a remarkable history of success.

From Inspiration to Transformation: The HVEX Story
Foundation - 2011
In 2011, HVEX was born in the High Voltage Laboratory of the Federal University of Itajubá. Guilherme Ferraz, Renato Capelini, and Rogério Salustiano joined forces to create a startup focused on technological development, with the clear goal of modernizing the energy industry, especially in the high voltage area. HVEX quickly established itself as a new player, laying the foundation for a journey that would shape its future and contribution to the electrical sector.
Incubation – 2012
In 2012, HVEX integrated with INCIT. This partnership represented a fundamental turning point, offering HVEX an environment conducive to the maturation of its ideas and concepts. Joining INCIT, HVEX entered an entrepreneurial ecosystem that not only validated the company but also provided access to valuable connections and essential resources.
Enhancement – 2013
In the same year, HVEX intensified its testing, research, services, and consulting processes. This rigorous approach set a standard that would consolidate HVEX as an entity committed to technical precision and continuous innovation.
